  • What is in the self contained kitchens?
    Fridge/ freezer, BBQ, BBQ tongs, hot plates, oven, oven trays, casserole dish, frypan, pots, kitchen knife set, chopping board, microwave, dish washer, knives, forks, spoons, pizza cutter, bottle opener, peeler, spatula, serving spoon, masher, Tupperware, bowls, plates, cups, short glasses, long glasses, champagne glasses, wine glasses, shot glasses. Toaster, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, dishwasher detergent, dishwasher tabs, cloths, surface spray, vacuum, bin bags, champagne bucket, hand wash, body wash, conditioner, shampoo, lotion, fire extinguisher. *milk is not provided.
  • What is available at reception?
    Washing machine, coffee machine, ice machine, board games, puzzles, DVDs, picnic basket and blanket, book swap, football, slackline, frisbees, torches for night walking, binoculars, telescope, kite, fishing rods, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, kayaks on request.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Unfortunately no pets are allowed at Scarlet Woods, this is because of damage to the chalets, allergens, noise, native wildlife and interaction with our own farm animals.
  • Do I have phone signal?
    You will have phone signal if you are with Telstra. Vodaphone and Optus do not have signal at Scarlet Woods. But we now have free wifi to all of the chalets with speed of over 50mbps.
  • Do I need to bring my own firewood?
    Fire wood is provided here at Scarlet Woods, we spend months accumulating firewood responsibly from our forest. This is available for your stay as you need it, you can collect with the bucket provided.
  • Can I drink the water?
    Yes, all of the chalets are run on pure rain water which is run through a multi-stage filter and UV filtration before reaching any taps or showers. It is tested annually, so is very safe, and nice, to drink.
  • Can I charge my Electric Vehicle?
    Yes, we do have a GPO outside reception, as we have solar panels, it is preferable to charge during the day 10-3pm when we have free electricity.
  • Are there any shops nearby?
    Manjimup and Pemberton have a great variety of shops, and cafes. Quinninup has a pub which does lovely meals- please check google for opening times. There are some fruit and veg road side stalls nearby as well. Please make sure to collect supplies before you arrive.
  • Are towels supplied?
    Yes, 4 towels are supplied per chalet. 1 per person for the Big House. If your stay is longer than 3 nights we can supply additional towels on request.
  • Can I bring an extra person?
    Please let us know if your group is 5 people. We can put out an extra mattress, including linen and towel, for you at a cost of $100. If you wish to BYO bedding, the additional fee is only $50, payable on arrival. Please note, the couch is not a sleeping option.
  • Accessibility
    Please contact us to assess your specific requirements. Chalet 4 does have an access ramp. There is a small lip with the door and shower. Also, on request we can provide a couch frame to aid people getting up off the couch.
